Newby Foundries is looking for a motivated individual to join our Wednesbury site as an Apprentice Engineering Design Technician. This role is based within our design and development department, Newby RapidCast, where you will provide technical expertise to support engineers throughout the engineering and manufacturing stages. By joining our team, you will be part of an environment that blends traditional foundry expertise with the latest industry advancements to deliver excellence to our clients. Newby RapidCast is at the cutting edge of the industry, utilising 3D printing and 3D scanning technologies to revolutionise the manufacture of castings. In this role, you will use 3D CAD software to create models and technical drawings, while also utilizing advanced simulation software to analyse material behaviour and optimize processes for real-world applications.
