West Midlands Railway is operated by West Midlands Trains Ltd, part of the larger Transport UK Group Ltd Group is an who also operate the Greater Anglia and East Midlands Railway franchises, and the Merseyrail concession in the UK.

West Midlands Trains operates both West Midlands Railway and London Northwestern Railway services with 148 stations serving commuter, intercity, and tourist routes throughout the region. West Midlands Railway services operate to destinations across the West Midlands via Birmingham New Street and Birmingham Snow Hill.

London Northwestern Railway services operate between Liverpool and Birmingham, and on the West Coast Main Line to and from London Euston.

Not only do we operate the trains running across the WMT network but have 260 engineers and technicians (including 20 apprentices), maintaining the trains at several depots and stations ensuring that they are serviced and carrying out complex rectification for over 550 vehicles within the fleet.
